The role
You'll help Healthread grow and stay a place people trust. You'll look after what people see in the app, keep our community healthy and active, and bring new members in from other online communities and forums.
This is a hands-on role. Most of your week is spent in communities, not in planning documents.
What you'll do
Curate in-app content, including choosing which news articles are shown to users.
Manage threads and the community: keep conversations active, welcoming, and on-topic.
Represent Healthread in outside communities and forums, and invite people to join.
Share feedback and trends from the community with the product team.
What we're looking for
Must have
Experience in community management, moderation, or content curation.
Clear writing in English and good editorial judgment.
Demonstrated experience participating in online communities and forums, with a strong understanding of their norms and rules.
Nice to have
Background in health, wellness, or patient communities.

Healthread is a health community app for iOS and Android, available in English and Spanish. People share experiences in topic threads, track symptoms and habits, check skin concerns with Skin AI, and get guidance from an AI health assistant and symptom checker.
We believe people manage their health better when they can learn from others going through the same thing. We're a small team, and this is one of our first growth hires.
